Registration
Information for registration: Name of participant(s), email and phone contact with membership no./ a letter from the respective ARCASIA Member Institute confirming the candidates’ eligibility as appropriate.
Submission
A3 PDF format to illustrate your proposal. (max. 4 pages and max. file size: 10M), participants are required to indicate whether they have any funding source or sponsorship related to their proposals
Competition Outcome
Your socially-related architectural or environmental topics project or programme to be executed and completed on or before 30 June 2025 as a showcase to all ARCASIA members.
In case the Awardee faced any difficulties during the implementation of the project that might affect the overall project execution, please contact ARCASIA at soonest for advice/assistance.
DETAILS: PROPOSED PROJECT
The proposed project is not an existing built project or construction.
The intent of this Award is for the Competitor to propose an innovative socially responsible related project or programme in the following form:
Option 1 Project – to design and to build the project
Option 2 Programme – to develop and to implement a programme within the time and budget provided under the
Award sum (US$10,000.00) for the benefit of their local community.
Competitors should refer to ARCASIA Charter on Social Responsibility 2015
There is no specific requirement for architectural projects (e.g. scale, location, section view diagrams). The Competitors are encouraged to decide for themselves how they would like to present their project in the best possible manner that will convey their ideas clearly to the Jury Panel, which comprised of architects as well as laypersons.
Anonymity on proposal submission is not required.
Jury Panel
Jury panel to consist of seven (7) members as follow:
- ARCASIA President or delegate
- President of Host Institute (UAP for ACA20) of Student Jamboree or delegate
- Chair of ACSR or delegate
- Chair of ACAE or delegate
- President of HKIA or delegate
- The Will’s Family or Donor Representative
- Member from the Award Task Force
